Like Gym Mat, Sport-Tile (interlocking tiles) and Weight Room Mats also protect floor surfaces but are manufactured from heavy duty rubber. They cushion the impact of heavy weights falling to the ground and provide a firmer footing for users. PVC interlinking tiles such as Flexi-Deck and Premier Grip, as well as loose lay matting such as Leisure Mat provide slip-resistance for shower areas and around swimming pools. Open holes provide drainage and a safer standing surface. PVC mats are hygienic as they do not support the growth of bacteria, and they are comfortable to walk on barefoot.
